Experience: 1-2 Years

**Key Responsibility & accountability**
1. Supervise Canteen Operations:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the canteen, including food preparation, serving, and cashier duties.
- Ensure compliance with NABH guidelines and regulations related to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain accurate records of stock.
- Plan and implement menu options that are nutritious, balanced, and cater to diverse dietary needs.
2. Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise canteen staff, ensuring they adhere to professional standards and follow NABH guidelines.
- Schedule and organize work shifts to ensure adequate coverage during operational hours.
- Provide guidance and support to staff members, promoting a positive work environment and encouraging teamwork.
3. Food Safety and Hygiene:
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols, including proper storage, handling, and preparation of food items.
- Conduct regular inspections of the canteen area to identify any potential risks or non-compliance with NABH guidelines.
- Monitor and record temperatures of refrigerators, freezers, and food items to maintain safety standards.
- Coordinate with the facility's infection control team to implement appropriate measures for preventing foodborne illnesses.
4. Customer Service:
- Interact with patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner, addressing their concerns and resolving any issues that arise.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming environment in the canteen, ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of customers.
- Collect feedback from customers and take necessary steps to improve service quality and meet their expectations.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to food safety, staff training, and inventory management.
- Generate reports as required, providing insights into canteen operations and compliance with NABH guidelines.
- Collaborate with the facility's quality management team to contribute to audits and assessments related to canteen services.
