**Job Summary**:
The MV Drives Proposals and Execution Team Member is responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of MV drives projects, from the proposal and bid phase to successful project execution and handover. This role involves collaborating closely with sales, engineering, finance, procurement, and client teams to ensure that all technical and commercial requirements are met. The team member will help develop solutions that align with customer requirements, prepare cost estimates, and provide technical guidance during execution phases to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Proposal Development and Bid Management**:
- Analyze RFQs (Request for Quotations) to understand customer needs and project requirements.
- Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals for MV drive systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with sales, Business development, engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to gather relevant data and develop competitive bid packages.
- Conduct risk assessments for proposals, factoring in project-specific requirements, timelines, and potential risks.
- Present proposals to internal stakeholders and provide responses to client inquiries during the bid evaluation process.
**2. Project Execution and Coordination**:
- Lead the project execution process, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating resources across different departments.
- Monitor project progress and milestones to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while meeting quality standards and client expectations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or changes.
- Coordinate with engineering, production and commissioning teams to resolve technical issues and ensure the project meets quality standards.
- Ensure all project documentation, including specifications, drawings, schedules, and test plans, is complete and accurate.
**3. Compliance and Quality Assurance**:
- Ensure all proposals and project activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including change orders, test records, and project close-out reports.
- Participate in quality audits, risk assessments, and project review meetings to continuously improve processes and outcomes.
**4. Cost Control and Financial Management**:
- Work with finance and procurement teams to track project budgets, control costs, and manage financial performance.
- Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for proposals and active projects.
- Monitor project expenditures to ensure financial objectives are met and address any cost deviations promptly.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in MV drives, power electronics, or related industry.
- Experience in project management and proposal development within the industrial or power sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of MV drives, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and power systems.
**Preferred Skills**:
- PMP or related project management certification.
- Strong understanding of MV VFD topologies like Multi Level VSI, LCI etc.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC) and regulatory compliance for MV drives.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to collaborate across teams and with clients.
- Basic knowledge of industrial Induction and synchronous motors.
- Proficiency in IT tolls like MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Project etc.
- Knowledge of Auto cad/Eplan will be added advantage.
