**Job Description**:
Titan, a leading jewellery brand, is seeking a highly motivated and organized Category Assistant to join our Merchandising team at Tanishq in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. As a Category Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Merchandising team in driving sales and profitability for the Jewellery-SMR category.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the development and execution of category strategies to achieve sales and profit targets
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the Jewellery-SMR category
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products and collections
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to optimize performance
- Assist in managing inventory levels and ensuring timely replenishment of stock
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of products
- Support in the planning and execution of promotional activities and events
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of product information, pricing, and promotions
- Assist in the preparation of sales reports and presentations for management review
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to make informed decisions

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the jewellery industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Passion for jewellery and a keen eye for design and trends
