**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and develop fashion collections that reflect the brand’s vision and target market.
- Conduct market research to identify fashion trends, fabrics, techniques, and seek design inspiration.
- Create sketches, mood boards, and technical drawings for new designs.
- Select fabrics, embellishments, color palettes, and trims for each design.
- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure designs are feasible and meet production standards.
- Participate in fittings and provide feedback on garment construction, ensuring the highest quality of finished products.
- Present design concepts to senior management and adjust designs based on feedback.
- Stay updated on emerging fashion trends and incorporate them into new collections.
- Manage design projects from initial concept to final production, adhering to timelines and budget constraints.
- Maintain a strong understanding of our brand's customer base and design preferences.
- Attend fashion shows, trade shows, and other industry events to stay informed about the latest trends and innovations.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Fashion Designer, with a portfolio showcasing a strong design aesthetic.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD programs.
- Excellent understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and têxtiles.
- Strong creative vision and ability to translate trends into wearable fashion.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to take direction and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with sustainable fashion and eco-friendly materials.
- Knowledge of merchandising and retail buying practices.
- Understanding of global fashion markets and cultural fashion trends.
