**Purpose of Job**:
A Project Planner is responsible for planning and scheduling various project workloads, gather and analyse information to present status reports, tracks work orders and projects, monitors schedule compliance levels and monitors shortfalls. The duties also include to recommend changes to improve the efficiency of planning and scheduling of projects. Works closely with the client account leads.

**Job Components / Major Responsibilities**:

- Update and maintain schedule data to ensure project consistency and optimization.
- Create formal communication plan to both team members and management.
- Frequently will be assigned the project team; having indirect responsibility for team members’ completion of tasks to project plan.
- Ensure team members timesheets are monitored at determined intervals to make sure project is being completed on time and within budget.
- Create and maintain project resourcing plan.
- Create and maintain detailed task lists project-wise and work effort assessment.
- Support the daily operation of the business.
- Provide support for the administration of contracts including scope of works &tender/contract preparation, and correspondence.
- Identify changes in work scope in the project plan.
- Recognize and understand competing business/projects requirements and make recommendations for the overall good of the projects team.
- Perform project progress monitoring duties including identifying critical activities and reviewing forecasts with progress achieved to date.
- Assist the Project Delivery Manager with evaluating schedule impacts arising from resourcing decisions.
- Meet all established project deadlines

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics/Mathematics/Computer Science or life science.
- Ability to work in multiple complex and/or international projects with multiple stakeholders and prioritize requests.
- Well-developed computer literacy specifically including: MS Office suite, MS Project, Power BI.
