The Commis III will assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, supporting the senior chefs in preparing and cooking food to the highest quality standards. ## **Key Responsibilities**:

- **Food Preparation**: Assist in basic food preparation tasks, such as cutting vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces as directed by the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
- **Cooking**: Help in cooking dishes according to the chef's instructions, following standardized recipes and portions.
- **Maintain Cleanliness**: Ensure the kitchen and food preparation areas are kept clean and organized at all times.
- **Stock Management**: Assist in managing stock levels, properly storing ingredients, and minimizing wastage.
- **Kitchen Equipment**: Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly and report any malfunctions.
- **Health & Safety**: Follow hygiene and safety guidelines, ensuring all food handling procedures comply with food safety regulations.
- **Support Senior Chefs**: Provide assistance to the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in managing the kitchen operations and during service times.
## **Qualifications & Skills**:

- 6 months to 1 year of experience working in a kitchen or related culinary role.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
## **Preferred Experience**:

- Basic culinary training or certification is a plus.
- Prior experience in a hotel or restaurant environment.
