Sales Operations Executive - MICE

We are looking for an experienced Sales Operations Executive to join our team within the MICE industry. In this role, you will support the sales team by managing the operational aspects of MICE sales, from lead generation and proposal creation to managing the execution of events and ensuring smooth collaboration across departments. Your focus will be on streamlining processes, improving efficiency, and enhancing the sales cycle to ensure that our clients receive the highest level of service and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sales Support: Provide operational support to the sales team, helping manage leads, generate proposals, and track opportunities to ensure smooth workflow and client satisfaction.
- Client Communication: Act as a liaison between sales, clients, and internal teams to ensure all client requests are captured accurately, from initial inquiries to post-event feedback.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain sales performance data and generate regular reports for the management team to track performance against sales goals, identify opportunities for improvement, and forecast trends.
- Event Coordination: Assist in coordinating the logistics of MICE events, including venue selection, booking, transportation, catering, and technical support, ensuring all client specifications are met.
- CRM Management: Utilize CRM systems to track leads, sales activities, and customer data. Ensure that all sales interactions and opportunities are documented accurately for future reference and analysis.
- Contract Management: Prepare contracts and agreements in coordination with the legal team and sales managers, ensuring compliance with company policies and client requirements.
- Proposal Development: Work with the sales team to develop compelling proposals and presentations that align with client needs and the company’s offerings.
- Database Management: Ensure the client and lead database is up-to-date, ensuring that relevant information is available for both sales and operations teams.
- Market Research: Conduct research to identify potential new clients, markets, and event trends, helping the sales team stay informed and competitive.
- Sales Training & Support: Support the sales team in training on sales processes, tools, and platforms, ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve sales operations processes, helping streamline workflows, reduce bottlenecks, and improve overall efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with an ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage complex projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions.
- Understanding of the MICE industry, including event management, travel logistics, and client relations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to speak additional languages (optional).
