**Job Overview**:
The Housekeeping GSA is responsible for providing excellent guest service while maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of hotel rooms, public areas, and facilities. The role requires attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to anticipate and address guests' needs to ensure their satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Guest Service**:
- Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for extra amenities, cleaning services, or any other accommodations.
- Ensure guests’ needs and expectations are met, offering assistance with special requests or concerns.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns regarding housekeeping in a professional manner, escalating to management if necessary.
- **Room and Area Cleaning**:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, ensuring they meet the hotel’s cleanliness standards.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other linens; replenish amenities such as toiletries, coffee, and paper products.
- Dust, vacuum, and clean surfaces, windows, and mirrors in rooms and bathrooms.
- Ensure that public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms are clean and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Report any maintenance issues in guest rooms or public areas to the appropriate department.
- **Restocking and Inventory Management**:
- Replenish housekeeping carts with the necessary cleaning supplies, towels, toiletries, and linens.
- Keep track of inventory and report low supplies to housekeeping supervisors or managers.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning products, equipment, and linens.
- **Team Collaboration**:
- Work closely with other housekeeping staff to ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained.
- Collaborate with front desk staff to ensure that rooms are ready for check-in and meet guest expectations.
- **Safety and Hygiene**:
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for both guests and staff.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Follow environmental and sustainability practices in line with hotel policies.
- **Miscellaneous Tasks**:
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including sorting and folding linens.
- Deliver requested items (e.g., extra towels, blankets, etc.) to guest rooms or public areas.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in a housekeeping or hospitality role is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Good physical stamina, as the job may require standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
- Friendly and professional demeanor with a customer-focused attitude.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
- Ability to handle guest requests and complaints with tact and professionalism.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
**Education and Experience**:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or customer service is an advantage.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
