A **Mechanical Site Supervisor** plays a crucial role in overseeing the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of mechanical systems at a construction or industrial site. Their responsibilities cover a wide range of tasks, ensuring that all mechanical activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and according to the specifications. Here are the key roles and responsibilities:
1. **Project Planning and Coordination**
- **Schedule Management**: Prepare and manage the construction or installation schedule for mechanical activities, ensuring that tasks are completed on time.
- **Resource Allocation**: Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment necessary for mechanical work.
- **Site Coordination**: Ensure all mechanical activities are properly coordinated with other trades (e.g., electrical, civil, and structural teams).

2. **Supervision of Mechanical Installation**
- **Installation Oversight**: Supervise the installation of mechanical systems like HVAC, plumbing, piping, pumps, and other mechanical components.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure that all work complies with project specifications, codes, and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, ASME).
- **Safety Compliance**: Ensure that all mechanical work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- **Inspection**: Conduct regular inspections of mechanical installations to identify and address any issues early on.

3. **Team Management**
- **Workforce Supervision**: Directly supervise mechanical technicians, foremen, and other workers on the site.
- **Training & Guidance**: Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff and contractors.
- **Performance Monitoring**: Monitor the performance and progress of the team, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.

4. **Documentation and Reporting**
- **Daily Reports**: Prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports, documenting the status of mechanical works, issues, and any delays.
- **Change Orders**: Manage any changes to the project scope or schedule, ensuring they are documented and communicated to the relevant stakeholders.
- **Inspection Records**: Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, and quality checks for mechanical systems.

5. **Communication**
- **Stakeholder Coordination**: Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment on project objectives.
- **Problem Resolution**: Address technical issues or challenges on-site by troubleshooting and collaborating with engineering teams for solutions.
- **Client Interaction**: Communicate with clients about the progress of mechanical systems installation or any concerns related to the mechanical work.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Internship, Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
