Overview

familiar with SQL and PL/SQL, and database fundamentals.

**Responsibilities**:
familiar with SQL and PL/SQL, and database fundamentals.

Experience in migration from one database to another is a significant plus.

Knowledge of high availability architecture of databases is a plus.

Shell programming, python or similar scripting is desirable. Exposure to Oracle GoldenGate is desirable.

Evaluation of various database technologies, migration strategies, database optimizations, review of database designs.

Qualification:
BE/BTech in Computer Science or related field. Certification in Oracle & related field.

Additional Skills:

- Oracle Database architecture familiarity.
- Oracle Golden Gate familiarity and conflict resolution
- Other high availability database (preferably RDBMS) experience.
- SQL Queries, PL/SQL experience
- Shell scripting.
- Basic knowledge of UNIX/LINUX
- Database schema design
- Migration from one database to another.
- Good communication skills
- Superb problem-solving skills
- End-to-end thinking
- Quality and process orientation
- Ability to work under pressure.
