Relationship Associates are responsible for analysing the asset management market and guiding clients in understanding how clients and intermediaries view them. Relationship Associates support sales and manage client engagements with asset management providers evaluating competitive opportunities and key strategic, organizational, operational and technology challenges for each client, based on its specific competencies and long-term objectives.
Working together with Relationship Managers on the team, you will your split your time between supporting sales and delivery of our products and services to the top Commercial and Community Banks. The expectation of this role is that you are highly skilled in both building upon existing client relationships and supporting Relationship Managers to uncover new opportunities.
In this position, the expectation of a Relationship Associate will also be to master the firm’s proprietary research methodology. This role is expected to have ongoing exposure to clients throughout the sales, production, and delivery cycle.
**Principal Responsibilities**:
- Support development of Coalition Greenwich’s research and consulting practice by understanding the evolving needs of our client base
- Support the Community and Commercial Banking sector in the design and development of its core data products to ensure continuous evolution and alignment with client needs
- Partner with the team to drive forward the sector’s thought leadership initiatives
- Analyse and interpret data to identify trends, customer preferences, and market opportunities
- Support new business, including generating draft proposals and pitching to prospects
- Support Relationship Managers through cross selling of products
- Support Coalition Greenwich PR activities to further penetrate our recognition with existing and prospective clients
- Provide exceptional levels of support, including being responsive, minimize errors, managing client expectations, etc.
**Qualifications/ skills**
- MBA, and/or CFA designation (or significant progress toward completion of the designation) preferred with exceptional academic achievement.
- 5 to 10 years of direct or consulting experience to the financial services industry; exposure to Community and Commercial Banking industry is a plus
- Demonstrated flexibility to work and collaborate with team members globally in different time zones
- Demonstrated experience in supporting and maintaining client relationships
- Ability to work independently and as part of a relationship team
- Proven ability to support development and implementation of business ideas
