Legal Team

Worldwide, the group's legal team consists of around 120 plus employees and 10 of these are based in India. The APAC legal team comprises 20+ employees who support and advise the business on many aspects of our numerous high-profile projects within the region. The Legal team works closely with our Sales and Operations colleagues and with Management at all levels. The teams are based in India, Australia, Malaysia and Singapore.

We are looking to recruit a qualified lawyer with 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience to support the People and Places Solutions (P&PS) APAC legal team and Corporate Legal on special projects. This role will be based out of our Gurugram office.
THE ROLE:

- Take responsibility for a wide range of construction and services contracts, from bid stage to negotiation and completion, including contracts with clients, joint venture agreements, guarantees, sub-contracts and confidentiality agreements.
- Streamlined contracts process (task orders under an existing framework)
- Deviations from standard terms
- Assist with some contract management
- Drafting/reviewing of letters (exclusivity, non-exclusive sub-consultant)
- Internal claims management (ex. manage professional indemnity claims).
- Corporate legal & M&A support.
