**Legal Counsel - Supply Chain & Customer Success (India, Gurgaon)**

**_ About the Job:_**
- Rackspace Technology is looking for an experienced, talented and motivated Corporate Counsel in India (Gurgaon), to primarily provide commercial transactions support to the global (Americas, EMEA & APJ) supply chain and customer success business units.

This position will report into the VP & Deputy General Counsel within the Global Legal Team based in the US and will work closely with internal client business units across all regions but with a particular focus on support of the India region.

**_ Key Accountabilities:_**

**1. **Acting as a legal business partner and valued legal advisor to the global supply chain business unit, and to their client business units; and the customer success business unit.

**2. **Structuring, drafting and revising standard supply chain and customer success policy and templates for legal best practices.

**3. **Providing strategic legal guidance and training to the global supply chain and customer success business units, and developing and improving legal operations for supply chain and customer success contracting including industry-leading self-service legal resources.
**4.** Providing legal account management and advice in relation to Rackspace Technology’s key business and customer partnerships within the supply chain and customer success areas.

**5.** Leading legal review and negotiation of complex supply chain and customer contracts. Advising on supply chain and customer legal compliance and governance (including privacy/data protection, export control, and anti-corruption)

**6.** Working closely with the Global Compliance team and internal business units.

**7.** Assisting with pre-litigation disputes, and working with the Global Litigation team in relation to litigation, in the supply chain and customer success areas.

**8. **Providing support, due diligence, and integration advice for M&A transactions and corporate expansion involving supply chain and customer success issues.

Key Requirements:_**

**1. **Qualified solicitor, excellent academic background, and an active license to practice law in India.

**2. **5-7 years’ relevant post qualification legal experience, and in-house experience preferred (preferably within a similarly sized global technology company).

**3. **Background and experience in all matters referred to in the Key Accountabilities section.

**4. **Proactive and effective communicator with clients and colleagues, including excellent listening skills.

**5.** Proven team player and collaborator, with the ability to work with colleagues to deliver exceptional results.

**6. **Flexible approach, with proven global perspective.

**7. **Ability to simplify, problem solve (including the ability to work with ambiguous situations), multitask and work effectively against deadlines.

**8.** Ability to work autonomously with appropriate escalation to management.

**9. **Excellent commercial and strategic business judgement.

**10.** Familiarity with and passion for technology and technology-related issues.

**11. **Ability to thrive in a fast paced, technology driven environment.
