A vehicle maintenance garage administrator manages daily garage operations by handling customer service, coordinating technician schedules, managing parts inventory, processing orders, and overseeing the budget and staffing. Key responsibilities include ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining high-quality service, adhering to safety regulations, and providing administrative support for the entire facility.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service:
Answer phone inquiries, manage customer complaints, explain service costs, and provide updates on repair progress.
Scheduling:
Schedule appointments, organize bookings, and assign work to technicians, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
Inventory & Ordering:
Monitor parts inventory, order necessary supplies and components, and manage the parts department organization.
Staff Management:
Supervise a team of technicians, provide guidance, and manage staffing needs, including hiring and retention.
Quality Control:
Check the quality of work performed by mechanics, implement quality control processes, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Operations & Compliance:
Maintain a safe and clean work environment, ensuring compliance with company policies and all safety and environmental regulations.
Administrative Support:
Process invoices, maintain records, and manage other administrative tasks required for the garage to function smoothly.
Skills Required
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Customer service skills and attention to detail.
Leadership and teamwork skills.
Basic computer proficiency.
Knowledge of automotive services and repair procedures.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
