**About Augrade**:
At Augrade, our mission is to make AR/VR more accessible & adaptable to how we live, work & play.
We’re a wearable tech startup working on AR glasses for Architectural firms, to help them ideate, design & present their designs in 3D using generative AI & AR technologies.

**About the role**:
As we are a start-up, there is plenty of room for progression and making the role your own. Occasionally, and in line with your strengths and interests, you may have to work outside your job description.

**Key Qualifications**:

- Ownership mentality towards work.
- 5 years of professional experience in design.
- A strong portfolio showcasing the way you think and work.
- Projects that describe who motivated the design, what influenced decisions, and how you delivered the solution.
- Prior experience in multimodal design, tangible computing, and sound or haptic design.
- Interest in physical controls (knobs, buttons, switches), tangible interfaces and interactive systems connecting atoms and bits.
- Experience with procedural approaches, generative design, and dynamic & real-time rendering engines.
- A background of working on wearable products is a bonus.

**Responsibilities**:

- Creating, and designing wearable technology product concepts via sketches, drawings, and detailed CAD models to determine the best form factor, and style for the product.
- Employing design concepts into functional prototypes via 3D printing.
- Performing research on product technologies and determining the best production method, materials, colours & design variations for the product.
- Design and refine haptic interactions in Apple products, from a multimodal perspective.
- Coordinating with engineers to ensure accurate communication and efficiency in the design phase.
- Testing and validating the design with the target customers.
- Modifying and revising existing designs to meet customer expectations.
- Work with all stakeholders, including others in the marketing team, graphics designers, freelancers, the talent team, and the business development team.

**Education & experience**:
BS in Design or a related field, or equivalent industry experience. Masters/PhD preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
