Cost Analytics team which is a part of Financial Resources is primarily responsible for cost analytics and related metrics. Domain: Financial Services Location: Powai, Mumbai Experience: 6 to 10 years Employment Type: Full time Job ProfileThe job involves conducting industry and financial research and data analytics to supportclientsandcontributingtointernalknowledgebuildingefforts.Typicalprojects will involve gathering, analyzing, synthesizing and presenting data using structured methodologies and frameworks. Projects may take couple of days to several weeks for completion Cost Analytics team benchmarks costs and operating margins for financialinstitutions.Costsareanalyzedacrosscosttypes,financialmarketproducts, regions, etc., using public sources, regulatory disclosures and proprietarymodelsPrimary Responsibilities and Activities:

- Lead end to end cost analytics and benchmarking process for the assigned client deliverables
- Lead ongoing surveillance of Business and cost reporting structures of Investment Banks/ Financial Institutions along with maintaining and updating standard taxonomy - Conduct research focusing Global Corporate and Investment banks in order to obtain key insights and interpretation on industry and company outlook
- Build, maintain and update cost estimates and allocation methodology models based on public and private datasources as well as client feedback - Prepare cost reconciliation statements reflecting normalization procedures
- Create data templates for clients based on client’s reportingstructure
- Responsible for maintaining central cost model based on client’s product and cost taxonomies
- Analyse the relationship between Costs drivers and reported/ estimated Cost by checking for a variance between them and reasons for thesame
- Ability to take decisions while working with unstructured data and limited information - Responsible attitude and ability to complete tasks in a timely manner - Well-developed interpersonal and active listening skills - Sound knowledge of global capital markets products preferred - A strong degree of independence and self-motivation - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
