HDFC ERGO General Insurance is hiring for a AVP - Data Analytics at Mumbai - Bhandup location

  • Key Responsibilities :
    Apply predictive modeling and machine learning to improve underwriting, claims, and customer segmentation.
    Conduct experience analysis, trend studies, and portfolio monitoring.
    Implement new AI/ML models for deeper and faster analytics.
    Collaborate with respective stakeholders to align the analytical outcomes with business goals.
    Participate in strategic planning and forecasting exercises.
    Contribute to risk assessment, stress testing, and capital modeling initiatives.
    Use analytical tools for model development and automation.
    Work with data engineering teams to ensure robust data pipelines and infrastructure for end-end analysis.

Experience -
• 6- 8 years of Data analytics experience in Insurance or Financial services.

Skills -
• Strong understanding of actuarial principles, statistical modeling, and data analytics.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, Excel, and actuarial software tools like Prophet, Emblem, ResQ.
• Strong understanding of predictive analytics & statistical techniques, data visualization tools.
