**Background**

Digital Green, in partnership with MoA & FW is proposing a transformative approach in PPP mode by developing and implementing a unified digital platform model that will not only upgrade this entire agriculture extension system digitally but also empower frontline workers within the agricultural and allied sector extension system to effectively create a massive sustainable impact in how the Indian farmer consumes information, practices agriculture and builds prosperous communities.

The overall goal of the program is to empower and strengthen the public extension system to be digitally skilled and fully equipped capable of driving digital agriculture to deliver improved services to farmers to enhance productivity, income and resilience. The success of the program depends on interdepartmental collaboration, coordination and convergence. The program utilizes the available skills, knowledge and infrastructure including that of Directorate of Extension, Indian Council for Agricultural Research, ATMA, State Agricultural Departments and Livelihood Missions among others.

**Job Summary**

The Program Coordinator of PMU will be responsible for supporting the PMU in the planning, execution, and monitoring of digitalisation of the agriculture extension management programs. You will ensure that the program is delivered on time, within budget, and meet the needs of stakeholders. You will also provide technical guidance and expertise in agriculture extension management.

**Scope of Work**
- Support the PMU in developing and overseeing the implementation of project plans, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, within budget and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.
- Support the identification and management of project risks and issues, taking appropriate action to mitigate them.
- Manage project risks and issues, develop mitigation plans and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure project activities comply with partners’ requirements, national policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and ensure their active participation in the project.
- Lead the coordination and work collaboratively with project stakeholders, including government officials, community members, and other partners to ensure project success.
- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of project reports, including progress and financial reports.
- Provide regular updates to senior management and committees on project progress and identify areas of improvement.
- Identify opportunities to expand the project and develop proposals for additional scale up to new geographies.
- Ensure that all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

**Contract Duration
The Consultant agreement will be for a period of One Year (extendable)

**Qualification & Skills**
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture or PGDM in AgriBusiness Management /Project Management or a related field.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience managing complex agriculture projects, including experience in implementation of government projects.
- Strong project management skills, including experience developing project plans and budgets, and tracking project progress against milestones.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of digital tools and technologies for agriculture extension services.
- Experience in data collection and analysis.
- Strong analytical and writing skills.
- Proficiency in English, Hindi and regional language of the State.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google workspace
