Role and Responsibilities:

- Relevant Experience of 8-10 years establishing the labs.
- The core responsibility of the lab administrator is to provide effective leadership of the medical laboratory services in accordance with organizational assignment of such responsibilities; including professional, scientific, advisory, organizational, and administrative matters, relevant to services offered by the laboratory.
- Ensure smooth lab operations across all QMC labs.
- Ensure that testing systems deployed are suitable for the requirements of the lab to provide timely and credible reports. Ensure generation of accurate & credible lab reports within stipulated TAT.
- Ensure the implementation of Lab quality management system -as per ISO 15189 : 2012 guidelines.
- Define, implement, and monitor standards of performance and quality improvement of lab service.
- Monitor all work done in the lab to determine that clinically relevant information is being generated.
- Conduct regular internal audits of labs to ensure conformity to the quality management system and to continually improve the effectiveness of QMS. Create &strengthen Lab audit tools and modules to conduct effective desktop and onsite lab audits.
- Conduct an impact assessment of the nonconformances.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of CAPA taken by the labs.
- Design a continual improvement plan for labs.
- Ensure provision of clinical advice with respect to choose of test methodology to be used, interpretation of lab reports.
- Evaluation of Referral laboratories and monitor the quality of their services.
- Address any complaint, request, or suggestion from staff and/or users of lab services.
- Serve as a contributing member of the medical staff -share daily, weekly, and monthly lab.
- Review reports with the management.
- Select and monitor lab supplies -provide technical inputs for procurement of lab equipment and reagents; selection and monitoring of lab supplies with respect to their performance (lab phlebotomy).
- Participate in budget planning for the labs.
- Ensure adequate no of appropriately qualified and experienced lab personnel at all labs; development of training needs matrix and adherence to it.
- Creation of training content for labs.
- Define acceptable competence levels and assessment of lab personnel as per schedule.
- Provide professional development programs for lab staff and opportunities to participate in relevant CMEs/workshops etc.
- Implement a safe lab environment in compliance with good lab practices.
- Relate and function effectively with applicable regulatory /administrative agencies, when required

**Salary**: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
