Job Title: Mathematics Tutor for 10th Grade State Board Students

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mathematics Tutor to join our team and provide comprehensive guidance to 10th-grade students following the State Board curriculum. As a tutor, you will be responsible for helping students understand mathematical concepts, completing the syllabus within the designated time frame, and preparing question papers to assess their progress. In addition, you will be expected to evaluate students' performance through weekly tests.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to 10th-grade State Board students.
- Ensure the timely completion of the syllabus, covering all relevant topics and concepts.
- Prepare well-structured question papers that align with the curriculum and promote critical thinking.
- Conduct weekly tests to evaluate students' understanding and track their progress.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their mathematical skills.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to suit the learning needs and abilities of individual students.
- Foster a positive and motivating learning environment that encourages student participation and active learning.
- Stay updated with the State Board curriculum and any changes or modifications.
- Collaborate with other tutors and educators to share resources and strategies for effective teaching.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Mathematics Tutor, preferably for 10th-grade State Board students.
- Excellent knowledge of the State Board curriculum for 10th-grade Mathematics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students and parents/guardians.
- Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency in creating question papers and assessing student performance.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.
- Organizational skills to manage time effectively and complete syllabus within the designated timeframe.
- Flexibility to adapt teaching methods and materials based on individual student needs.
- Passion for education and a genuine desire to help students succeed.

Working Hours:

- Monday to Saturday: 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm
- Sunday: Half working day

**Salary**: ₹5,000.00 - ₹8,000.00 per month

**Benefits**:

- Evening shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
