Job Title: Online Group Tutor (Class 9 & 10 - Math & Science, CBSE)

Location: Remote (India)

Type: Part-time (Evenings, Monday to Friday)

Hours: 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM IST

Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and teaching skills

Start Date: Immediate Joining

About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Online Group Tutor to teach Math and Science (CBSE curriculum) to students of Class 9 and 10. The students are divided into small groups of 6, with each group receiving 14 classes per month. Each class runs for 1.5 hours and follows a discussion-driven, peer-learning model.

This is not a lecture-heavy job — we want someone who can engage students, spark curiosity, and facilitate understanding through dialogue, questioning, and interactive learning.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Math and Science to Class 9 and 10 students based on the CBSE syllabus
- Conduct online group classes (1.5 hours each), 5 days a week
- Use a peer-based and discussion-oriented approach to teaching
- Provide regular feedback to students and adapt teaching based on performance
- Collaborate with the academic team to maintain lesson quality and track learning progress

Who You Are
- A strong communicator who loves teaching and interacting with teenagers
- Fluent in English and Tamil
- Comfortable using Zoom/Google Meet and digital whiteboards
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM field.
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience (online preferred)
- Patient, empathetic, and capable of encouraging slow and fast learners alike
- Able to commit to a minimum of 8 months

Nice to Have:

- B.Ed. or teaching certification
- Familiarity with active learning strategies or the assessment-oriented learning model
- Experience in tutoring for board exam preparation

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
