DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
The CA Department is part of Global Marketing. It is headed by the Vice President of Corporate Affairs, and
consists of two Managers supporting WEF and other partnerships, activities, events or initiatives in which Bain
chairman and/or CEO take part such as IBLAC, Bain’s CEO breakfast in Davos, as well as manage the team
pipeline. Each is supported by a GBS India-based team member.
The CA team is in charge of ensuring the positioning (speaker, participant, member ) of Bain’s senior leadership
at premium and high level/high visibility C-level events, at setting attending partners up for business success by
equipping them with the most up to date client specific relationship information, at running CEO Forums, and at
supporting C-level networking.
This is a temporary role for 3 months.
This position works as a member of Bain’s Corporate Affairs team. It includes day-to-day interaction with Manager
through weekly team calls and quarterly 1-1 calls).
This position is responsible for data entry and other day-to-day processes within the contact database that ensure the
accuracy and proper classification of contacts related to multi-event global conferences, global business networking
associations and other high-level initiatives Bain is involved in. This position is also responsible for report
development & delivery for high level events run by Corporate Affairs. These tasks often require using third-party
sources and researching individuals and companies to ensure that the information in the database is accurate and
current. This role also includes developing presentations post events (post-mortems) capturing output from event,
preparative documents for events (facebooks with bios and Bain relationship data, misc preparation documents),
analysis of CRM usage and data, data integrity projects, and more.
The position is teamed with one Sr CA Specialist for day to day activities and supports WEF projects, W50 projects,
and various activities involving Bain’s CEO and chairman. The role is polyvalent on a need basis and assignments
are interchangeable with other team members of the GBS India CA team.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Proactively track new participant registrations for any upcoming global conferences and input/map (new)
contacts in CRM database
- Create new and review existing global conference and business networking related contact records in the
CRM database to ensure they are associated with the correct company and contain accurate job title, address,
- Cleanse individual contact and company records in the CRM database to ensure that there are no duplicate
associated, and all are correctly formatted.
- Enhance individual contact records by updating additional fields with relative industry, finance, client and
event status and other public or private data. Search for and upload contact photographs as needed or
requested.

- Perform search requests and prepare regular data reports and Facebooks for all related events.
- Research companies and contacts, perform data quality tasks, analyze data and perform other functions, as
assigned.
- Provide regular written and verbal updates on status of projects directly with stake holders. Proactively
communicate any potential issues with deadline or problems with data accuracy.
- Join and contribute on weekly conference calls with the Corporate Affairs team, on monthly calls with the
global CRM team and monthly calls with EMEA marketing team.
- Contribute to other projects of local data integrity team especially urgent requests with tight deadlines.
- Develop flawless powerpoint decks in support of Bain leadership attendance at events and as part of the
wrap up, post event
- Support Sr Specialist in admin functions such as scheduling of calls, input into ongoing projects, etc as
needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in any field providing exposure to database or list management
- Minimum of 1 year of database experience, internet savvy, with a strong track record in database operation,
including initiative to test new and more efficient processes as needed
