**Position Reports to: Divisional Manager**

**Purpose of the role**:
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and drive the DevOps strategy aligned with business goals.

Define best practices and standards for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated testing.

Design scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure architectures.

Integrate DevOps tools and technologies to optimize workflows.

Evaluate and select tools for CI/CD, configuration management, monitoring, and logging.

Integrate and automate various tools to create a seamless development-to -deployment pipeline.

Work closely with development, operations, and IT teams to ensure alignment and smooth communication. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to resolve issues and improve processes.

Promote and implement automation across the software development lifecycle.

Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in existing workflows and address them.

Ensure that DevOps practices adhere to security and compliance requirements.

Implement security best practices in the CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure management.

Lead and drive initiatives to foster a DevOps culture within the organization.

Set up monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance.

Analyze performance metrics to optimize infrastructure and processes.

**Requirements**:
Technical Expertise:
Deep knowledge of DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Ruby).

Architectural Skills:
Experience designing complex systems and infrastructures.

Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization.

Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and optimizing systems
