**Job Description: Retail Counter Sales Executive**

**Position**: Retail Counter Sales Executive

**Position Type**: Full-time

**Experience**: Minimum 5 years of experience in retail sales

**Salary**: Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications

**Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**:

- Greet and assist customers as they enter the store.
- Provide product information, recommendations, and solutions based on customer needs.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and courteous manner.
- **Sales Achievement**:

- Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives set by the management.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the store’s products and services to drive sales.
- **Merchandising and Display**:

- Ensure products are well-displayed, organized, and stocked at all times.
- Assist in setting up promotional displays and signage.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management.
- **Transaction Processing**:

- Process customer transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring compliance with store policies.
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer and perform end-of-day reconciliation.
- **Store Maintenance**:

- Keep the retail counter and surrounding areas clean and orderly.
- Assist in maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the store.
- Follow all safety and security procedures to ensure a safe shopping environment.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other sales executives and store staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving sales strategies and customer service practices.
- Assist in training new employees as required.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and reliability in handling cash and sensitive customer information.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales or retail management is a plus.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
