Company Secretary

As a company secretary, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our corporate governance and legal compliance. You will be responsible for overseeing all corporate secretarial functions, providing expert advice on legal and regulatory matters, and ensuring adherence to corporate governance principles.
**Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate and prepare agendas, minutes, and resolutions for board meetings, general meetings, and other company meetings.
- Assist in the organisation and administration of board meetings and general meetings, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Advise the board of directors and senior management on corporate governance matters and ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
- Monitor changes in relevant legislation and regulations and ensure that the company remains up-to-date with any legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance on compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and corporate governance principles, including best practises.
- Liaise with external professionals, such as lawyers, auditors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the drafting and reviewing of legal agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.
- Support the company in maintaining its ethical standards and compliance culture.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in law, business administration, or a related field
- professional qualification as a company secretary or equivalent.
- Proven experience working as a company secretary or in a similar corporate governance role.
- In-depth knowledge of company law, corporate governance principles, and relevant regulations.
- strong understanding of board processes, including the preparation of board packs, agendas, and minutes.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
**Salary**: ₹20,575.28 - ₹80,000.55 per month
