**Job Title**: Sous Chef - Bakery

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Production Management**:

- Assist the Head Chef in overseeing bakery operations, including the preparation of baked goods, pastries, and desserts.
- Ensure consistency and quality of all products.
- **Recipe Development**:

- Develop and innovate bakery recipes while maintaining standards.
- Support the team in creating seasonal and special menu items.
- **Team Supervision**:

- Manage and mentor junior bakery staff, ensuring adherence to production schedules.
- Delegate tasks effectively and monitor performance.
- **Quality Control**:

- Maintain high standards of taste, presentation, and texture in all bakery items.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure compliance with recipes and brand guidelines.
- **Hygiene and Safety**:

- Ensure all operations comply with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Monitor cleanliness of workstations and equipment.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Assist in managing inventory levels of raw materials and ingredients.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment.
- **Operational Efficiency**:

- Plan and execute daily production schedules.
- Minimize wastage and optimize resource utilization.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Baker in a professional kitchen.
- Expertise in baking techniques and knowledge of bakery equipment.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Creativity and passion for bakery and pastry arts.
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations.
