**Job Description: Cashier cum Computer Operator**

**Position Overview**:
A Cashier cum Computer Operator plays a dual role, primarily responsible for processing financial transactions and managing computerized systems to record sales, inventory, and customer information. This role requires a blend of cashiering skills, computer proficiency, and customer service capabilities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Cash Handling: Accepting payments from customers in the form of cash, credit/debit cards, or electronic transfers accurately and efficiently.
- Billing and Invoicing: Generating invoices, receipts, and bills for purchases made by customers.
- Point of Sale (POS) Operations: Operating POS terminals to process transactions, calculate totals, and issue receipts.
- Inventory Management: Updating inventory records and monitoring stock levels to ensure availability of products.
- Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and assisting with product selection.
- Computer Operations: Using computer software and systems to input sales data, update records, and generate reports.
- Data Entry: Entering sales, inventory, and customer information into computer databases with accuracy.
- Cash Reconciliation: Balancing cash drawers at the end of each shift and preparing reports on daily sales and transactions.
- Security Compliance: Adhering to security procedures and protocols to prevent theft, fraud, and unauthorized access to cash and sensitive information.
- Multitasking: Handling multiple tasks efficiently, including cashiering, computer operations, and customer service, especially during peak business hours.

- Cash Handling Skills: Proficiency in handling cash transactions accurately and securely.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy in cash handling, data entry, and record-keeping.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues effectively.
- Customer Service Orientation: Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Numerical Aptitude: Basic math skills to calculate totals, handle change, and reconcile cash drawers.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and handle peak business periods.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Capacity to resolve customer issues and address operational challenges proactively.
- Integrity and Trustworthiness: High ethical standards and integrity in handling financial transactions and sensitive information.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the employer.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher

**Salary**: ₹8,163.04 - ₹25,900.75 per month
