Position: Principal Solution Architect - AWS Cloud Migration Focus (Presales)

Location: Noida

Work Mode: WFO

Years of Experience: 10+ years of experience in IT architecture and systems integration.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Job Description:

- Act as the technical lead during the sales cycle, working closely with account executives, customers, and internal teams.

Migration Strategy & Planning:

- Develop customized migration roadmaps and proposals using AWS best practices and migration frameworks.
- Recommend migration strategies such as Rehost, Replatform, Refactor, Retire, Retain, and Repurchase (6 R’s).
- Identify risks and mitigation plans to support seamless migration execution.

Tooling & Architecture:

- Utilize tools like AWS Migration Hub, CloudEndure, Server Migration Service (SMS), and Database Migration Service (DMS).
- Architect landing zones, security frameworks, and hybrid integration models.
- Ensure adherence to AWS Well-Architected Framework and security compliance standards.

RFP/RFI Support:

- Contribute to RFP/RFI responses, Statements of Work (SoWs), and cost estimates.
- Work with sales and finance teams to model TCO/ROI for AWS migration projects.

Required Skill Set and Experience:

- 10+ years of experience in IT architecture and systems integration.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on AWS experience, with a focus on enterprise migration projects.
- Deep understanding of cloud architectures, hybrid cloud, networking, and security.
- Proven experience in pre-sales, customer interaction, and proposal writing.
- The person should have experience in AWS MAP program and its components like MAP 2.0, MAP light, MAP assessment, OLA assessment etc.

Certificate
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional
- AWS Migration Specialty or DevOps Engineer.

Soft Skills:

- Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written).
- Good documentation skills.
- Should have a great customer handling skill.
- Able to handle unforeseen situations.
