**Job Description: - Recovery Debt Agent (Education Sector)**

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Recovery Debt Agent to join our team in the education sector. As a Recovery Debt Agent, you will play a vital role in ensuring the collection of outstanding debts owed by students, parents, or other stakeholders. You will work closely with the finance department and educational institutions to recover overdue payments, while maintaining a professional and empathetic approach.

**Responsibilities**:
a) Debt Recovery: Initiate contact with students, parents, or other stakeholders to recover outstanding debts within the education sector.

b) Account Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of debtors, including payment history, contact information, and correspondence.

c) Payment Negotiation: Engage in negotiation discussions with debtors to establish suitable payment plans, taking into consideration their financial circumstances and the institution's policies.

d) Follow-up Communication: Conduct regular follow-up communication with debtors to ensure compliance with agreed-upon payment plans and resolve any payment-related issues or disputes.

e) Documentation: Prepare and maintain necessary documentation, such as payment agreements, settlement letters, and legal notices, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

f) Reporting: Generate reports on debt recovery activities, providing updates on progress and outcomes to relevant stakeholders within the organization.

g) Compliance: Adhere to legal and regulatory requirements regarding debt collection practices, ensuring ethical conduct and protection of debtors' rights.

**Qualifications**:
a) Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. A bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.

b) Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience in debt recovery, preferably within the education sector or a related field.

c) Knowledge: Familiarity with debt collection laws, regulations, and best practices. Understanding of financial management principles is beneficial.

d) Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage in negotiation discussions and resolve conflicts effectively.

e) Empathy: Demonstrated ability to approach debt recovery with empathy, understanding, and professionalism, while maintaining a firm commitment to achieving results.

f) Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

g) Problem-Solving: Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically to identify alternative solutions and resolve complex debt recovery issues.
