**Job Description**:
**Job Overview-**
SC Accounting includes teams - Plant and Warehouse Inventory reconciliation, Monitor & Resolve, Plant Accounting & Grain accounting. Process coach will be responsible for training and knowledge management for all these processes. Process coach would have to closely work with managers & stakeholder. SC Accounting teams manages different activity related to 3PL warehouse and plant inventory management core activity being Inventory recon.
**Responsibilities**:
70% of Time Knowledge Management
- The key responsibility in this role is on boarding the new people to the role. This includes intensive three weeks of training and the topics covered would be around process, culture, cadence and so on.
- Prepare training materials such as outlines, text, and handouts and present information, using a variety of instructional techniques and formats such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, and lectures as well as develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen.
- Focus more on reviewing & updating process documentation (OPL) to ensure in place and yearly signoff from Stakeholder.
- Tailor specific training programs to employee growth and retainment, career path assistance, etc.
- Be the point of contact to maintain all the process changes, process documents and later train the teams on any changes.
- Develop, Tweak and Review training procedure manuals, training content and guides, and course materials.
- Conduct Refresher training and Process Knowledge test of timely manner
- Collaborate on stakeholder escalation to identify themes of training
- Build Subject Matter Expertise in the process
- Focus more on reviewing & updating process documentation (OPL) to ensure in place as well as follow
- Understand End to End process for ESC - IA/FA/FSL role
15% of Time Process Improvement
- Identify, initiate, and implement process improvement ideas.
- Leverage Continues Improvement tools or mindset to identify recurring issues and work towards Institutional Solution
- Collaboration across team for Service Excellence
15% of Time - Actively participate in team or site events/initiatives
- Mentor/ coach new team members & Issue resolution - address queries
- Participate in projects
- Be a SME in transition management to build synergies & Standard processes
- Build & Maintain Process dashboards
**Day in Life of GAO Process Coach**
1. Scheduling training for new joiner and refresher training
2. Conducting training.
3. Arranging on desk training
4. Resolving Trainees Query
5. Reviewing if training is on track
6. Conducting Assessment and providing feedback
7. Providing reports of Training status to manager
8. Coordinating with manager on error and escalation to understand training gap.
9. 1:1 with trainees
10. Documentation management
11. Creating controls to process documentation updating
12. Setting up connect with stakeholder for documentation review
**Desired Profile**
Education
Minimum Degree Requirements: Bachelors
Preferred Degree Requirements: Masters
Preferred Major Area of Study: Finance & Accountancy
Experience
Minimum years of related experience required: 5+ years of relevant experience in business, accounting
Preferred years of related experience: 7+ years of relevant experience in business, accounting
**Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed**
- Experience in Reconciliation is must
- Familiarity with SAP system functionality preferred
- Experience dealing with U.S. personnel over phone preferred
- Ability to question, recommend, influence and lead process changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness for the team and stakeholders.
- Advanced MS Office computer skills preferred (i.e. Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
