**POSITION GUIDELINES**:
POSITION TITLE : Bar Tender

RESPONSIBLE TO : Restaurant Manager

**JOB SUMMARY**:
To continually strive for the development of sales in the restaurant by maintaining the highest standards in Guests handling as per the decided standard operating procedure

Established Duties

Ø To abide by the rules and regulation of the Hotel

Ø To abide by the mission statement

Ø To requisite and replenish liquor on the basis of previous days consumption and par stock

Ø To prepare the garnishes for service

Ø To collect the food from the kitchen to be served in the bar

Ø To have thorough knowledge of cocktails liquor and mixology

Ø To ensure that all glassware is clean and available for the various drinks to be served

Ø To know thoroughly the food and beverage control procedure and implement the same

Ø To maintain the necessary books of control

Ø To maintain proper inventory in laison with F B controls

**Eco and** **Cost control Responsibilities**:
Ø To follow energy conservation methods

Ø To follow three bin rule religiously for recycling of paper

Ø To follow water conservation methods

Ø To follow and educate eco
- methods to other fellow friends and acquaintances

Ø To use proper measure of liquor at all times

Ø To record all spoilage, spillage, breakage and complimentary consumption

Ø For suggesting various ways of increasing sale

Ø For having various sales promotions

**Working Conditions**:
Ø Duty Time : 8 hrs +1 hr break

Ø Time : Depending upon the assigned shift

Ø Posture : Depending upon the area assigned

Ø Accuracy : As per the Standard Operating

**Safety**:
Ø Sprinkler situated at every eight feet

Ø Smoke Detectors are installed at the ceiling

Ø Water blower are installed at every floor

Ø Extinguisher are installed on every floor

Ø Pest-O-Flash is installed in Ecoteria

Ø Monitoring alcohol consumption of all guest in the Bar
