Position Overview

The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for driving new business growth from both existing and new customers within a defined sales territory. This role involves managing a sales pipeline, following up on qualified leads generated by Demand Generation and the organization, and conducting outbound lead generation from targeted prospect and customer lists.

You will engage in cold calling and prospecting to achieve sales targets while gaining experience interacting with clients across multiple industries and levels. In this role, you will develop and qualify opportunities within the assigned territory, working closely with field-based Partner Managers, License Compliance teams, and channel partners.

Responsibilities
- Report to the Territory Sales Hub Manager and prioritize high-opportunity target accounts within a defined territory
- Evaluate customer profiles, create value messaging, and define steps to accomplish account plans
- Generate and close new business opportunities to fuel the sales pipeline within the assigned sales territory
- Identify decision-makers and influencers, understanding their needs, timelines, and budgets
- Ensure customers' needs are addressed by articulating how Autodesk solutions can accelerate their business
- Collaborate with field-based Territory Sales Executives
- Leverage relationships with channel partners to enhance overall territory performance and exceed customer expectations
- Build appropriate teams for each opportunity, coordinating Autodesk personnel, including presales, consultants, and services, to deliver value to clients
- Provide accurate billing forecasts and updates to the sales manager
- Exceed monthly sales targets, quotas, and KPIs
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers and identify win-win scenarios
- Help customers and Autodesk develop success reference stories

Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of quota-carrying sales experience, including selling complex technology solutions in inside or field sales roles
- Proven ability to manage challenging situations while maintaining a positive and upbeat attitude
- Strong team orientation and database management skills
- Experience engaging executive-level stakeholders to influence strategic outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent sales cycles
- Commitment to continuous improvement of sales skills through on-the-job coaching, self-learning, and Autodesk's sales career progression framework
- Track record of exceeding sales targets, quotas, and KPIs
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Based in Ahmedabad, with the ability to work in a hybrid environment
