Job Description - Specialist _ QM Tools and Methods Engineer
- Position - Specialist _ QM Tools and Methods Engineer
- Department - Quality Assurance
- Job Location - Pirangut, Pune
- Education - Diploma / BE in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience - Relevant 5-7 years in wiring harness industry only

Key Tasks
- 1. Performs all activities related to Quality requirements relating to the production management and

production operating systems.

2. Generic tasks:

- Analyze and study market trends in terms of quality and requirements
- Analyse customer and internal requirements regarding new products and/or harness systems

architecture
- Monitor available customer requirements, as per company standards
- Force creating and maintain process FMEA
- Monitor Risks and opportunities for product and process.
- Create and maintain overall traceability concept for product.

3. Continuous improvement of existing processes:

- monitor and improve release process and KPI's for production readiness of new assets
- Handover of Process FMEA Documents for finalized production process solutions to industrialization

departments in plants for series production and further implementations and to central Production

Management for consideration in Company standard.

4. Advanced Experience in quality and requirements analysis

5. Experience in quality planning and especially customer standards

6. Deep know how in customer Production Process Approval Process (PPAP) for new assets

7. Experience in project related supplier quality assurance (SQA) activities

8. Experience in process FMEA definition and updating, validation of initial samples, updating of

control plan, the preparation of customer official run & rate, and all quality activities requested by

customer for a new asset.

9. Experience in monitoring global customer specific requirements.

10. Follows up and closing of complaints after releasing 8D and confirming administrative costs

11. Executes the inspection of receipt and shipment in accordance to the relevant working

procedures/instructions and the specific requirements of the customers;
Executes sorting activities required before dispatch to production (sorting, Firewall) to protect

company processes.

12. Ensures follow-up of Quality Costs.

13. Authorized to Stop production and/or dispatch to mitigate risk of non-conforming

processes/products.

14. Assists in creating/updating relevant procedures.

15. Controls the special characteristics of the processes/products in the area of responsibility;
16. Participates in internal audits;

**Salary**: ₹400,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Wiring Harness Quality: 7 years (preferred)
