**Graphic Designer**
We are looking for someone who is highly creative and a natural storyteller, who also thrives on knowing the latest and greatest in social/digital/photo/video/web/graphic techniques and wants to proudly own the look and feel of Chandigarh University. The Graphic Designer will work with the web development and digital team to create effective and innovative graphic design for the university to support our branding, messaging, website, social media, program information, product design and events.

**Job Responsibility**
- Work on a wide range of projects and media, to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals
- Design assets for use in online advertising and social media platforms
- Video ideation and graphic direction
- Image editing for print and web
- Conceptualize ideas, create visual representation and design various materials for print and digital collateral
- Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams for a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, info-graphics, motion-graphics, social media post, signage, newsletters, brochure and other marketing materials.
- Build various design templates for a single task to provide multiple options to the senior manager to choose the best one.
- Obtain inputs from management, ensuring designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately and appropriately
- Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with marketing team, meeting deadlines and scheduling project implementation based on workload, which may include five or more simultaneous projects.
- Examine existing processes, identifying flaws and creating solutions to improve design capabilities
- Update and maintain internal databases of designs, photography, and video

**Requirement**
- Graduate with min 3+ years’ experience preferably with creative or marketing agency
- Superb knowledge of Adobe Suite and common motion graphics design software
- Proven experience with graphic design and motion graphics, with a strong portfolio of work
- Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
- Select colors, images, text style, and layout
- Develop graphics for product illustrations, logos, Icons and websites
- Familiarity with still and video photography
- Hard working, visionary with attention to detail, desire to continue to grow skill set.
- Out of the box thinking with an eye to what is coming next
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
