**Content Writer**

**Responsibilities**:

- Conceptualize ideas and ability to put it on paper
- Writing clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
- Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content.
- Create/Edit/upgrade content for brochure/ prospectus, pamphlet, flyers etc, assisting the marketing and designing team in developing content for advertising campaigns.
- Creating compelling headlines and body that will capture the attention of the target audience.
- Include appropriate keyword using SEO best practices while developing the content to increase visibility and traffic to the company website/content.
- Proofread text and edit text at various stages of the writing process and in response to feedback from digital marketing specialist.
- Engage readers with informative, entertaining, and educational copy
- Ensure the text is in line with university's 'house style'
- Inform readers on the features of products using accurate and current information
- Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
- Identifying customers’ needs and recommending new content to address gaps.

**Qualification**:

- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, english, journalism, or related field.
- 3+ years of copy editing experience preferred
- Experience in Ad agencies
- Thorough knowledge of media production and communication
- Prior experience in video scripting, creating collaterals, web content, print & AV ads
- Proficient in publishing software and Microsoft Office
- Basic knowledge of legal issues involved in publishing, such as libel and plagiarism

**Skill Requirements**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English and Hindi languages
- Ability to remain detailed-oriented and focused when processing large amounts of text
- Mastery of spelling, grammar and punctuation errors and ability to make constructive suggestions
- Impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions
- Proven content writing or copywriting experience.
- Working knowledge of content management systems.
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Ability to work independently.

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
