Maintain general accounting systems, policies, and procedures to ensure that proper information is reported in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Career Level - IC2 The Assistant Financial Controller is responsible for managing the financial accounting, Statutory audit, Internal audit, Management reporting and Compliance requirements of the legal entity. - Responsible for the preparation of financial related information required by government and regulatory agencies for statutory/external financial reporting. - Performing the financial reporting of legal entities’ results (monthly, quarterly, annually) in accordance with US GAAP & Local GAAP - Performing the analysis and interpretation of financial results, to assess risk, if any, to Oracle operations and propose mitigation plans - To work in cross-functional relationships with Oracle’s Finance, Sales, Legal, Human Resources, Tax and Treasury organizations. - Ensures that financial information and statements reflect the "true and fair view" of the legal entity, for US GAAP consolidated reporting, and statutory reporting. - Implement best practice system processes and controls for the Corporation and legal entities to comply with all internal and external financial reporting obligations and to manage and minimize risk. - Participate in Global & Regional strategic initiatives that optimize and enhance the operations of the Chief Accounting Officer organization. Qualification and Experience - Good knowledge on Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards. - Good knowledge on Corporate and Taxation Laws. - Working knowledge in ERP environment. Experience on any of the Data Analytics Tool will be an added advantage. - Values diverse thinking and seeks to understand different perspectives. - Articulates clear and concise messages in a logical and descriptive manner
