Business Development Manager

**Hiring for a Client**
This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills and the ability to engage with decision-makers, develop strategic partnerships, and close complex sales deals. The role involves extensive travel within India and occasional international visits.
**LOCATION - KANPUR, U.P.**
**Key Responsibilities**
- To assist the organisation’s sales and growth by identifying new business opportunities
- Identify emerging markets, segments, product combinations
- Provide ideas to attract new clients and keep the management updated about market and competitor activities
- Designing and implementing in consultation with the Country Head, a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence;
- Build contacts with potential clients to create new business opportunities
- Make cold calls for new business opportunities
- Keep prospective customer database updated
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs;
- Assesses risks and makes recommendations based on a thorough analysis of all factors involved in a business situation;
- Works efficiently and calmly tight deadlines or other stress factors arise;
- To perform any other task as and when assigned by the country head
**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**
- Achievement of quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Number of new customer accounts acquired
- Customer retention and satisfaction scores
- Win/loss ratio on submitted proposals
- Market expansion in untapped regions or sectors
- Strategic partnerships and channel developments
**Qualifications & Experience**
- **Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BE Electrical) - Mandatory**
- MBA in Sales or Marketing - Mandatory
- 4-7 years of proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in automation, robotics, or industrial electrical components
- Strong understanding of technical sales processes and customer lifecycle management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with or working knowledge of CRM platforms will be an added advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel extensively across India and occasionally overseas

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
