Note

**Responsibilities**:
1. Financial Management:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Develop and manage budgets for various projects and the overall company.
- Conduct financial forecasting and provide insights to support strategic planning and decision-making.

3. Project Accounting:

- Track and report on project-specific financial performance, including cost analysis and profitability assessments. o Ensure that project expenses are accurately recorded and within budget.

4. Tax Compliance:

- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. o Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations affecting the interior design industry.

5. Vendor and Client Management:

- Manage relationships with vendors and clients regarding invoicing, payments, and financial inquiries. o Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and follow up on outstanding payments.

6. Internal Controls:

- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy. o Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with established procedures and policies.

7. Software Proficiency:

- Utilize accounting software (e.g., tally) and project management tools specific to the interior design industry. o Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 years of accounting experience, preferably in the interior design industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

- CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
- Experience with project accounting in the interior design or related industry. Competencies:

- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records and reports.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the financial aspects of the interior design industry. **Communication: Effective communication skills to interact with vendors, clients, and team members.**:

MUST HAVE:
Knowledge about GST, TDS and excellent in Excel
