Expertise in zTPF Assembler, ZTPF C/C++. Sabretalk exposure is good to have but not mandatory.

Good exposure to IT Service Management process, which includes Incident, Problem, Change, Release & Deployment. Flexible to work in different shifts or 24*7 support on call out of office hours / weekend including night shift on rotation.

SDLC process - Requirement gathering, analysis, design, estimation, Understanding of low-level design, development, preparation of unit test plan, unit test cases, unit testing, defect analysis, migration activities, test support, implementation, and post-Production support. Knowledge in Agile or Waterfall methodology.

Application modernization experience in moving from Legacy zTPF technologies to modern technology.

Good verbal & written communication skills.

The zTPF Professional to take strong ownership on actions, to find innovative ways to improve the services’ agility and efficiency, and to continuously gain more skills. Professional should be able to lead technically and mentor others as appropriate.

**Responsibilities**

As a zTPF Application developer/Support Analyst, he/she will take on a combination of the following responsibilities:

- Able to do requirements analysis, understand the business flows to translate them into Technical Requirements.
- Able to code, edit, and debug programs, unit/integration test, deploy using zTPF Assembler, Sabretalk, zTPF C/C++, TPFDF for the assigned bugs/enhancements.
- Able to troubleshoot and identify bugs in existing programs, design and release bug fixes.
- Can design and develop new programs, analyse current programs and processes.
- Collaborate with project team in understanding customer needs.
- Follow the best practices in software development and maintenance such as standards, documenting code and other practices necessary.
- Ability to work independently with customer.
- Able to deliver the assigned work with quality within agreed timeliness.

**Desired Skills and Qualifications**
- Technical: 5+ years of experience in zTPF Assembler, TPF-DF, TPF-C/C++, Sabretalk,
- Good working knowledge of zTPF-GI or IBM Tool kit tools (Trace Log, Code Coverage, Performance Analyzer), CVS.
- Good functional knowledge of Airline Passenger Service Systems (PSS) or Flight operations system(FOS).
- Functional: Exposure to Airlines domain of either Check-in, Reservations, Ticketing or CREW is highly preferred.
- Should take ownership of the assigned assignments/tasks.
- Ability to deliver under tough project timelines when in need.
- Able to understand Software Development Life Cycle.
- Possess strong logical/analytical skills to address job related problems.
- Quality Mindset, Self-motivated, Team Player and result oriented.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to simultaneously interface with other teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Work with a team to provide written responses to technical proposals and /or reports/documentation for delivery.
- Experience in identifying and delivering technical solutions to customer business problems.
- Excellent English both verbal and written communication skills and capable of independently communicating with customers.
- Should be flexible to work in shifts (24/7)
- Exposure to IT Service Management
- Good to have an experience working in Agile or Waterfall software development process
