**Job Title**: IT Systems Administrator / IT Generalist

**Location**: Chennai, India

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **IT Hardware and Software Management**:

- Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware components.
- Manage company NAS servers, domain names, software purchases, and IT inventory.
- Set up new accounts, workstations, and ensure proper licensing and compliance.
- Oversee inventory for IT hardware, perform repairs, and handle maintenance.
- **Systems Administration**:

- Act as the primary administrator for the company’s software suite Google Workspace
- Upgrade systems with new releases and hardware models, as necessary.
- Ensure security protocols, including access control, backups, and firewall maintenance.
- **Networking**:

- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network devices like routers, modems, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance, optimize connectivity, and handle outages.
- **System Security and Backup**:

- Manage system security, including intrusion detection and backup/recovery strategies.
- Develop and enforce IT policies to safeguard data and prevent breaches.
- Maintain and upkeep CCTV systems
- **Software Implementation and Support**:

- Assist with evaluating and implementing new software solutions.
- Provide technical training and support to employees on new technologies.
- Develop and maintain an internal wiki with technical documentation and manuals.
- **General Office IT Support**:

- Maintain an organized system for company mobile devices, SIM cards, and other hardware.
- Support general office maintenance, manage vendor relations, and oversee IT procurement.

**Skills and Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or IT Generalist.
- Solid understanding of networks (LAN/WAN), and system security.
- Familiarity with patch management, various operating systems, and platforms.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, resourcefulness, and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
- **Educational Requirements**: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar fields; ; Professional certifications like MCSA or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
