**Job Description: University Counsellor**
**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist students in identifying suitable universities based on their academic profile, career aspirations, and personal preferences.
- Advise on the preparation and completion of **entrance exams** (e.g., IELTS, SAT, ACT) as required by target universities.
- Counsel students on available **scholarships**, **financial aid**, and other funding opportunities.
- Provide feedback on **interview preparation** for specific universities that require them.
- Collaborate with our internal team to ensure smooth communication and follow-up with students and their families.
- Support the development of partnerships with **university agents or placement agencies** to streamline admissions processes and explore commission-based opportunities.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a University Counsellor or Admissions Consultant with a focus on the **UK, Australia, and US** university systems.
- **Education**: Bachelor's degree (required); a degree from a university in the UK, Australia, or US is a plus.
- **Communication**: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to build rapport with students and parents.
- **Flexibility**: Ability to work remotely and manage a flexible schedule.
- **Preferred**: Experience as a university agent or working directly with placement agencies to secure university contracts.

**Remuneration**This is a freelance position, and compensation will be based on an **hourly rate** agreed upon prior to engagement.
