**Job Description**:

- Overall design of mechanical systems in various Data Center and infrastructure projects.
- Review of mechanical design calculations, drawings, design reports, tender documents etc.
- Representing the Mechanical department during discussion with clients and construction firms etc. Leading Mechanical discussions in the progress and coordination meetings of the project. Interfacing directly with clients and other stakeholders.
- Overseeing the performance of the engineers in his team. Training and development of the team members in mechanical engineering department.
- Knowledge management, people management, process improvement and standardization.
- Proper resource utilization of the team members across multiple projects.
- Assisting the business development team for preparation of technical proposals and creating opportunities to diversify into other sectors.
- Necessary coordination with other departments as applicable.

**Experience**:

- Experience in MEP design of Infrastructure and Data Centers project with specialization in HVAC and Refrigeration.
- Proficient in heat load calculations, ventilation calculations, equipment selection, high and low side design, BOQ, general layout etc.
- Knowledge of relevant design standards - TIER Standard Topology as per ASHRAE, NBC, ECBC, NFPA, Uptime Institute, TIA 942, BICSI 002, EN 50600 etc.
- Knowledge of related software like HAP, Ansys, IES, Six Sigma, Cradle, NavisWorks, BIM, AutoCAD

**Qualification**:

- B.E./ B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed Institute with 15+ years of experience in HVAC Design.
