**Job description**

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- **Accounting and Bookkeeping**:

- Maintain accurate records of vouchers, receipts, bills, and payments.
- Handle day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring timely and accurate bookkeeping.
- Prepare and maintain sales and purchase registers.
- **Reconciliation and Reporting**:

- Perform bank reconciliation and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and reconcile inventory with stock registers.
- **Banking Operations**:

- Process cheque issuance for clearing, cash deposits, NEFT, and RTGS transactions.
- Handle banking documentation and liaise with banks for operational requirements.
- **Financial Management**:

- Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure proper tagging and recording.
- Collect payments and follow up with clients/vendors for pending dues.
- **Inventory and Stock Management**:

- Register and monitor daily stock movements and update stock records.
- Assist in stock audits and variance analysis.
- **Compliance and Coordination**:

- Ensure compliance with organizational accounting policies and standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams for audit support and financial reporting.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
- Proficiency in **Tally ERP** and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in managing accounts for NGOs or social sector organizations.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.

**Job Type**: Internship
Contract length: 4-6 months

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
