Production Supervisor

**Educational qualification** -Graduate in any stream. A course in logistics /SCM will be added advantage.

**Language** -Fluent and grammatically correct spoken and written English, Gujarati and Hindi are a must

**Knowledge and experience**:
**Domestic**
- Best modes of transport -Pan India
- E way bills and border formalities
- Different types of trucks and loading capacities
- Best loading practices
- Contacts with local and established transporters
- Ability to negotiate the best contracts with transporters
- Handling drivers
- Insurance and claims
- Best packing practises
- Ensuring timely deliveries once the vehicle has left
- Tracking and information to customers
- Pre-dispatch information to customers
- LR, test reports, invoice copies, E way bills, to ensure are delivered by the driver
- Timely arrangement of vehicles

**International -Import & Export**
- Transit time Port to Port.
- Good knowledge of INCO TERM & HSN code for Import & Export
- Coordinate with forwarder Negotiate the best Sea & Air freight, Container placement on time.
- Sound knowledge of DGFT, ICE-Gate, Advance license & EPCG License.
- Custom formalities and paperwork
- Arrangement of Certificate of Origin
- Sound knowledge of Export checklist & Shipping Bill, LET Export.
- Inspection of containers
- Handling of customs officials
- Contacts with CHA, shipping lines, forwarders, transporters, CFS
- Ability to negotiate best contracts
- FTA and COO
- Tariff classifications and HSN codes
- CHA-related paperwork -IGM filing etc
- Well-versed with the rules and regulations of the shipping line. Prompt claim settlement of container damage
- Best international routes for shipping
- Best ports for import and export shipments
- Various types of containers and their loading capacities
- Refund formalities in case
- Import and export duties
- Ground rent, demurrage, THC, Rail out, CFS
