**Job Title: Counsellor**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Counselling and Support**:
1. Provide individual and group counselling sessions to clients dealing with various issues, including personal, academic, career, and family-related challenges.

2. Develop and implement personalized action plans and therapeutic interventions.

3. Monitor client progress and adjust strategies as needed to ensure positive outcomes.
- **Assessment and Planning**:
1. Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs, strengths, and areas for improvement.

2. Develop and maintain detailed case notes and records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.

3. Collaborate with clients to set realistic goals and milestones.
- **Cultural Sensitivity and Community Engagement**:
1.Understand and respect diverse cultural backgrounds, ensuring that counselling practices are inclusive and culturally sensitive.

2. Engage with community resources and refer clients to additional support services as needed.

3. Participate in community outreach programs to promote mental health awareness and support.
- **Professional Development**:
1. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in counselling and mental health.

2. Attend workshops, conferences, and training sessions to enhance professional skills and knowledge.

3. Maintain relevant certifications and licenses as required.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, or a related field.
- **Experience**: 2 to 5 years of experience in a counselling role in overseas counselling.
- **Skills**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in using counselling software and tools.
- Experience working with diverse populations and understanding of cultural nuances.
