A Site Accountant is responsible for managing the financial aspects of a specific construction project or site, ensuring accurate record-keeping, compliance with regulations, and effective cash management. This role often involves processing invoices, managing payroll, and generating financial reports related to the site's operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Financial Record Keeping**:Maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions related to the project, including invoices, payments, and expenses.
- **Payroll Management**:Processing payroll for site employees, ensuring accurate timekeeping records, and managing related deductions.
- **Invoice Verification and Processing**:Verifying the accuracy of invoices and ensuring prompt payment in accordance with company policies.
- **Cost Control**:Monitoring project expenses and identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
- **Cash and Bank Management**:Managing cash flow, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring proper banking procedures are followed.
- **Compliance**:Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.

Skills and Qualifications:

- **Accounting Knowledge**: Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- **MS Office Proficiency**: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
- **Organization and Attention to Detail**: Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is often required, and some roles may prefer an MBA/PGDM in Finance.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
