**Project Overview**:
The USAID/India FIRE-UP Activity aims to improve availability and demand for voluntary FP/RH services/products by ensuring equitable access, empowerment, fostering engagement and creating an enabling environment, in alignment with India’s FP2030 vision of providing universal access to FP/RH services, with a strong focus on youth, marginalized and vulnerable populations.

Pathfinder is seeking an Advisor-Partnerships. The Advisor-Partnerships has a deep understanding of FP/RH context in India; as well as experience interacting with Government of India agencies, including central and local government, USAID, development partners, civil society, private sector, and community-based organizations. He/She will use their extensive public and private networks to help catalyze the impact of this Activity through leverage of existing relevant partners, platforms, and technologies.

***Strategic Development and Implementation**:

- Keeps abreast with FP/RH landscape in India and can speak to the strategic direction of the project and all activities.

**Program Management**:

- Contributes to successful programmatic and technical implementation of the project.
- Ensures the project achieves the greatest possible impact by cultivating public-private partnerships that can amplify the impact of FIRE-UP activities, through leveraged resources.
- Ensure linkages and coordination with other USAID investments in India, and other partners and FP/RH initiatives in the public and private sector.

**Organizational Representation and Collaboration**:

- Lead engagement strategy and implementation collaboration between FIRE UP and complementary FP/RH initiatives in project areas as well as nationally.
- Liaise with donors, partners, host government agencies, and other key stakeholders to share progress, accomplishments, and challenges to ensure optimal leveraging of other investments and avoid duplication of efforts.
- Cultivate strong relations with headquarters to achieve organizational goals and provide periodic updates to staff worldwide on the progress, challenges, successes, and lessons learned in multi-level and multi-sectoral collaboration.
- Cultivates and strengthens positive, productive relationships and ensures that Pathfinder is consistently viewed as an effective implementing partner and achieves project targets.
- Assists COP in State and National collaboration and learning meetings.

**Required Education, Training and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in public health, business administration, or related field.
- Over 5 years of progressive management experience on donor-funded projects of similar size and scope.
- Professional experience working in a senior management position for USAID-funded or other donor-funded projects.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the FP/RH landscape in India. Knowledge of the FP/RH landscape in NE States preferred.
- Experience interacting with Government of India agencies, including central and local government, development partners, private sector, civil society, and community-based organizations is essential.
- Experience working on public-private partnerships for health is preferred.
- Previous experience working in India and living in India.

**Required Organizational Competencies**:

- Languages: Proven writing and speaking skills using local languages and English language
- Communication and Influencing Skills: Proven ability to influence others through diplomacy and proven oral and written communication skills.
- Passion for SRH: Demonstrated commitment to FP, RH services, gender, maternal, child health services, and eradication of harmful traditional practices.
