**Job Title**: Stock Auditor

**Location**: Chennai
**Department**: Inventory / Accounts / Audit
**Reports To**: Managing Directors

**Job Summary**:
The Stock Auditor is responsible for ensuring accurate stock records, verifying inventory, identifying discrepancies, and maintaining proper documentation. The role involves regular audits of physical and system-based inventory to support accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct regular physical stock audits across all warehouses, stores, or storage locations.
- Reconcile physical stock with inventory records and identify discrepancies.
- Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting variances, issues, and recommendations.
- Verify stock movement, receipt, and dispatch records for accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures and internal policies.
- Coordinate with store managers, warehouse staff, and accounts team during audits.
- Assist in implementing improvements in inventory management processes.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive inventory and financial information.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Prior experience in stock auditing, inventory management, or accounting preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management software.
- Good communication and reporting skills.

**Work Environment**:

- May require travel to multiple store or warehouse locations.
- Exposure to warehouse operations and physical stock handling.

- Ability to work independently and in a team.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
