qualification, experience, etc. for positions of _Junior Research Fellow_ in University Institute of

Engineering and Technology (UIET), Panjab University, Chandigarh under the project titled
- “Development of framework/utility for archival, processing, visualization & classification of _
- seismic signal data for detection of snow avalanche events”_ sanctioned by DGRE, Chandigarh.

The position of _Junior Research Fellow_ is for a period of one year and likely to be
extended up to another 12 months OR coterminous with project, depending upon the

The incumbents are also expected to work on Saturdays/Sundays and may be on holidays also

**Junior Research Fellow**: 01

**Essential Qualifications**:

- “First class throughout with M.E / M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering / Information _
- Technology with GATE / UGC NET/PU Ph.D. Entrance test in CSE/IT Qualified and B.E / B.Tech in _
- Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology” _
- OR _
- “B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology with 75% marks and _
- valid GATE score”._

**Desirable**:_Knowledge of Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence/Signal Processing and willing to _
- pursue Ph.D. in CSE/IT._***

**Emoluments per month**: Rs. 35,000/-***
