We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate De-Addiction Counselor / Psychologist with a Master's Degree in Psychology to join our team at Rebirth Hospital & Rehabilitation Centre. In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping individuals overcome addiction and regain control of their lives.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the psychological and emotional well-being of patients dealing with addiction issues.

2. Individual and Group Counseling: Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions to address the specific needs and challenges of patients in recovery.

3. Treatment Planning: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to develop individualized treatment plans for patients, including setting goals, interventions, and progress monitoring.

4. Crisis Intervention: Respond to crisis situations and provide immediate support and counseling to patients in distress.

5. Education and Prevention: Educate patients and their families about addiction, recovery, coping strategies, and relapse prevention techniques.

6. Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

7. Therapeutic Techniques: Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support patients in their recovery journey.

8. Collaboration: Collaborate with medical professionals, social workers, and other staff members to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

9. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest research and developments in addiction psychology and incorporate best practices into your counseling approach.

**Qualifications**:

- Master's Degree in Psychology with a focus on addiction counseling or clinical psychology.
- State licensure or certification as a psychologist or addiction counselor (if required by the state).
- Strong understanding of addiction, substance abuse disorders, and mental health issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathy and a non-judgmental approach to patients.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and ethical guidelines related to patient confidentiality and care.
- Prior experience in addiction counseling or a similar role is preferred.
